Groups visiting Hochsauerland: April 2012 - Brass Band participated in Gleidorf Music Festival.
May 2012 - young String players took part in joint workshops and concerts with German students.
June 2012 - Members of the West Lothian Twinning Association made a private visit to Arnsberg, but attended the unveiling of West Lothian Platz, planted 4 Scots Pines each commemorating 10 years of the Partnership and attended the opening of West Lothian Artist Marion John's exhibition in the Kreishaus. July 2012 - 15 youths from West Lothian travel to HSK for the reciprocal, annual Youth Exchange project.
August 2012 - Private, self-funded visit by 4 members of Linlithgow Reed Band to Niedereimer centenary Schützenfest.
October 2012 - West Lothian Schools Brass Band to participate in the Sauerland Brass Festival.

August 2012 -General educational visit by pupils of Eslohe High School.
September 2012 - Official visit of the HSK Partnerschaft lead by Landrat Herr Dr. Karl Schneider. October 2012 - Young people from Neptune Swimming Club in HSK to take part in a swimming gala at St. Margaret's Academy.
